The SJS Cancer Support Team is Proud to be hosting its 2nd Annual SJS Sweet Corn Fest Fundraiser. This event will be held on Sat. Aug. 9th, 2025 at the Sauk County Fairgrounds and will include amazing BBQ, Adult Beverages (including the Battle of the Beers), Family Entertainment, Corn Hole Competition, a Dunk Tank featuring “Sauk County Celebrities”, Chicken Poop Contest, Live Music and
of course, Sweet Corn!!!
**New in 2025 will be Meat Raffles from Various Sauk County Meat Producers!
About SJS Cancer Support Team:
The SJS Cancer Support Team was established in 2007 as a Relay for Life Team. Around 2010, we decided to keep all the money raised for local families in Sauk County affected by cancer. The SJS Cancer Team consists of Judy Spencer, Kathy Johnson, and Kevin Schell, as well as many other dedicated members. Our fundraising efforts in prior years include the Scottish Doubles Bowling Event, Memorial Day Food Stand, working food and beer stands at the Sauk County Fair, an ATV/UTV Benefit, in addition to other events.
In 2024, the SJS Cancer Team donated $100,400.00 LOCALLY WITHIN SAUK COUNTY!
Here is the breakdown:
Individual Sauk County Families: $44,800
SSM St Clare Foundation (towards purchase of Cancer equipment): $10,000
RAMC – Reedsburg Area Medical Center Foundation: $10,000
Sauk Prairie Hospital Foundation: $10,000
Agrace Care for All – Respite Care: $5,000
St. Croix Hospice Respite Care: $5,000
