CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER: Halloween Trick or Treat Hike: Monsters in Merrimac!

The Hike: Join us on Friday, October 13, 2023 at 6pm for a family-friendly, easy 1.5-mile hike on the Ice Age Trail-Merrimac Segment and Riverland Conservancy Merrimac Preserve for trick-or-treating and a monster hunt! Enjoy the beautiful, winding prairie while watching out for spooks hidden along the way.
Event Details: Wear your costumes and bring your trick-or-treat candy bag on this one-way loop trail. Arrival time is flexible, but expect about 1-2 hours on the trail. The event will close at dusk. Donations are greatly appreciated to offset the cost of the event and to help us maintain and grow our beautiful trail. Location Details: The hike begins at the Riverland Conservancy Merrimac Preserve parking area behind their barn on Hwy 113 in Merrimac with parking on site.
Bring a flashlight or headlamp if attending after sundown.
