Film Screening: Ripples of Plastic

July 20 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Description: Join us Monday, July 20th from 6:00pm – 7:30pm for the screening of “Ripples of Plastic”. This event is sponsored by Sauk County Land Resources and Environment (LRE) Department, Carnegie-Schadde Memorial Public Library, Powered Up Baraboo, Friends of the Baraboo River, and Conserve Sauk Film Festival.

In RIPPLES OF PLASTIC, we take a powerful look at how plastic pollution is affecting the Great Lakes in ways many people never see. With guidance from Dr. Sherri Mason and others from the region, the film shows how plastic spreads through the environment, how tiny plastic pieces impact water and wildlife, and how they may also affect human health. More than just encouraging individual choices, the film calls on communities to work together for real change and a future with less plastic.
