Volunteer Day at Devil’s Lake State Park

Join the Friends for a fun day of helping with a project at the park! This month the Friends are partnering with the Ice Age Trail folks and a Boy Scout troop from Wheaton, Illinois on a trail clearing project. Meet at the Sauk Point Trail parking lot, located on the east end of Solum Lane. Solum Lane is located east of State Highway 113, approximately halfway between County Highway DL and South Lake Road.
Tools will be provided. Bring gloves, snacks, drinks, and dress appropriately for brush clearing. We may also try to tackle some invasive honeysuckle if we have enough volunteers.
