The Sauk County Partnership for Prevention coalition empowers communities to prevent the misuse of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs through collaborative and strategic action.
Our current goals and activities include:
1) reduce youth alcohol use via decreasing availability through the implementation of alcohol age compliance checks to limit retail access and the Not in My House educational campaign to limit social access
2) reduce youth tobacco use, including ENDS, via tobacco age compliance checks and alternatives to citation programs
3) reduce prescription drug misuse by people of all ages via prescriber education and educational campaigns about safe storage, use, and disposal
