Mental Health Action Team

The Sauk County Mental Health Action Team meets virtually every month on the 3rd Monday from 11 am – 12 pm.
Our Vision: Mental Health resources are affordable, timely, and easy to access in Sauk County.
Problem Statement: Many Sauk County residents experience substantial mental health distress causing them to lead less productive, less healthy, less fulfilling lives.
Root Cause: Access to Mental Health care with more specific issues being: long wait times for 1st appointments leading to high numbers of people in crisis. Strategies being discussed: increase capacity of primary care providers to treat MH disorders; purchase an app that provides “while you wait” MH resources.
