Join us on Feb. 7th for a workshop all about soil health & regenerative farming! This workshop will feature David Brandt, a renowned cover crop expert, and farmer from Carroll, OH.
Hosted in partnership by local area producer-led watershed protection groups, this event will provide an opportunity to learn about the importance of soil health and practices that can be implemented to improve soil health and function on your farm.
Learn from David Brandt, Ohio Farmer and renowned cover crop expert. Brandt farms 950 acres all no-till in Carroll, OH. He began no-till farming in 1971 and has been using cover crops since 1978. Hear how Brandt is working to reduce input costs of fertilizers and herbicides using various cover crops which improve soil health.
The event will also include a panel of Wisconsin farmers who will also share how they are utilizing cover crops in different ways on their farms throughout Wisconsin.
Registration by Wednesday, February 1, 2023, is required for this event. The cost to attend is $10.00/person. The registration fee includes a catered lunch and all program materials.
