Heritage Day Rendezvous at Pioneer Log Village
September 18 @ 10:00 am - September 19 @ 5:00 pm
Celebrating 60+ Years – 1965 – 2026!!
If you are looking for a place that can take you back to a time when there were no phones, computers, bathrooms, running water or electricity, the Reedsburg Area Historical Society’s Pioneer Log Village is just for you! This authentic mid-1800’s log village nestled in the pines just east of Reedsburg features fully furnished log homes, a church, school, general store, post office, blacksmith shop, library and three museums.
The Village is open Saturday afternoons Memorial Day through Labor Day, but it also holds a special Heritage Day Rendezvous weekend each year. During this living history event, visitors can talk with Mountain Men, Voyagers and Longhunters while also enjoying special exhibits, re-enactments, and demonstrations. Food and music will be available on site, and the cabins and museums will be open for touring.
